October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. I want to emphasize the importance of early screening and testing, so please, go make an appointment with your doctor today!
In the hopes to raise funds for research and charities, I'm sharing these brands that donate proceeds of sales towards this cause. I also featured these awesome products on Great Day Live Tampa Bay.
1. Avon- Avon is the national presenting sponsor for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Every year Avon features their Pink Hope products, and contribute 15% of sales to the American Cancer Society's Breast Cancer programs & services. Some of my favorites from the Pink Hope line are the Kiss of Hope Nourishing Lipsticks, Skin So Soft Shea Butter Collection, Pink Ombre Hoop Earrings, and pink bracelet. Shop & Support here.
2. Violets Are Blue Skincare- Created by Cynthia Besteman. This line was created because of a personal need for skincare that is natural and safe for the body as well as the environment. Faves of mine are the Ultraviolet Facial Serum, The face & body lotion with avocado and argan oil, and Matt's favorite is the healing salve because he suffers from cracked hands. What's really great is that Cynthia provides patients at Mt. Sinai Dubin Breast Center in NYC with a gifted package on their first day of Chemo. In addition, 10% of the purchase price for all products gos toward skincare donations for cancer patients. Click here to shop!
3. House Of Jewels Miami- Newly launched super fun jewelry line, which all pieces are high quality, tarnish free, and hypo-allergenic. You can order personalized pieces such as necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. 10% of proceeds from these 3 pieces featured here will go towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Pieces include: The Pearl Necklace, which is gold layered and so dainty, and the Lover Girl Necklace has 5 durable heart charms and is great for layering. Order yours here!
4. Salty Girl Beauty- This line was created in 2017 by sisters Sarah Kelly and Leah Robert, after Sarah was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Since then they launched Salty Girl Beauty to create a brand of beauty products that were healthy, organic, and affordable. They give 10% of each sale back to families dealing with cancer through their non-profit Foundation4Love.org
They offer monthly subscription boxes, and a la carte products as well. I love their multi-sticks because they are so versatile and come in a beautiful array of colors too! They have awesome bath salts, body scrubs, facial oils, the list goes on. Check them out here and support now!
